ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Gracy. I'm a retired Singapore Ministry of Education-approved Business English teacher. I started my English teaching and training career in 1998. I love to travel and teach, and experience different cultures. My teaching assignments took me to China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. I now live in Johor, my second home, where I spend my time writing books and watching movies when I am not teaching. As I'm Asian and come from Singapore where English is a First Language, foreign students feel comfortable with me as I understand their challenges to speaking and learning a new language. I've more than 10 years of experience teaching ESL and General English to students ranging from elementary school to undergraduate level and adults. I teach all levels - from Beginners to Advanced. I taught in language schools, government schools, private schools, a China University, in-house corporate classes and public seminars. Teaching Qualifications I completed a professional teaching diploma from the University of Cambridge (CIDTT, with Distinction) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching for Higher Education. ABOUT SESSION

The lessons will be informative, interactive and fun! There will be lots of speaking practice so you can build up your confidence and your vocabulary on your learning journey to master English. We will learn through videos, role-play, modelling, pair work, practice, games and activities. I'm a dedicated and patient instructor, and I listen to my students. I am interested in achieving their learning outcomes. Booking is now open for group classes (limited to 10 in a class) or teaching one-on-one.
